RRHEC

In June, the Writing Center opened a satellite office at the RRHEC in Avery Room 264. It is open to all Texas State students regardless of where you attend classes.

We open for the fall semester on Monday, August 31st.

Fall hours:

Monday - Thursday 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The Writing Center is a student service dedicated to improving writing and self-editing skills campus wide. The peer tutors are able to help with any assignment from any discipline, including cover letters and resumes, from the planning stages to polishing the final draft. The services are all free of charge to current students.

The Right Word in the Right Place: Diction and Style

Join us for an informative workshop that will help you learn how to polish your writing by carefully choosing your words and using them in the most effective manner.

Mastering the In-Class Essay

Learn how to prepare for and write the in-class essay. Our tutors will discuss time management as well as writing tips. Come join us if you're anxious about in-class essays or just want to improve your writing skills.
