If you are a student of Texas State University, you may enter an essay that you wrote for a class in 2007 or spring 2008. Your paper will be judged against others in your category:

1. A paper written for an English 1310 class.
2. A paper written for an English 1320 or sophomore class.
3. A paper written for a junior or senior class.
4. A paper written for a graduate class.

If your paper is selected as the winner in your category, you will receive $100.

To enter, stop by Flowers Hall G09 with two copies of your paper (with only your id number--remove your name), and a completed entry form (see below).
